Sugar Cookies

Making these sugar cookies takes very little time and effort. They're delicious on their own or with added candy. A buddy of mine sprinkles chocolate mints on top, and they're delicious.

Ingredients.2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour.
The equivalent of one teaspoon of baking soda.
1/2 tsp. of baking soda or powder.

The equivalent of one cup of softened butter.
1/2 a cup and a half of white sugar.
1 egg.

Preheating the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a little bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.

In a large basin, use an electric mixer to cream together the sugar and butter. Add the egg and vanilla and mix well. Incorporate the flour mixture gradually.

For 8-10 minutes in a preheated oven, until the edges are brown. You should let them rest for a few minutes on the baking sheets before transferring them to a wire rack to cool fully.
