Daiquiri.American mining engineer Jennings Cox invented this rum drink. Cox ran out of gin while preparing gin sours for his guests and substituted rum to avoid ruining the celebration.

Stormy.The British Royal Navy's ginger beer with Gosling's Black Seal Rum created this Bermuda-born cocktail.

Mojito.This drink is versatile. The original was developed in Havana, Cuba, but new versions include the maple blackberry mojito, blueberry mojito, and Dirty Mojito with gold rum and raw sugar.

The Hemingway Daiquiri was created by Constantino Ribalaigua Vert, who poured 10 million daiquiris. Hemingway ordered double daiquiris, gaining the nickname "Papa Doble."
