Recipe for Ambrosia Salad

Ambrosia is the meal of the gods and its name comes from Greek mythology, where it is associated with eternal life. Nowadays, it's often understood to be a light and airy fruit salad 

flavoured with tropical ingredients.Though it has a Greek name, this cool and creamy dish was made famous by southern chefs

These days, home chefs from coast to coast put their own unique touch on the traditional ambrosia recipe.

Ingredients.Drained mandarin oranges from one 15-ounce can.Drained pineapple chunks from one 8-ounce can.Miniature marshmallows, one cup's worth.

Put the oranges, pineapple, marshmallows, and coconut in a big bowl and mix everything well. Toss in with sour cream and taste for seasoning Make sure it's covered and chilled for at least a few hours
