As an alternative to chicken nuggets, chicken patties are a delicious and convenient meal option. These crispy fritters are a great way to shake up your typical weeknight meal.
Ingredients.
Ground chicken, 18 ounces.
An onion, coarsely chopped, with 1 serving.
Fresh parsley, chopped (about a bunch's worth).
One huge egg.
Garlic, smashed (at least 2 cloves, more to taste).
You may season to taste with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Mayonnaise, to taste, 2 tbsp.
Mix together the chicken with the onion, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. To the softened mixture, add mayonnaise and whisk to incorporate.
Make a bed of flour in a wide dish. Spatula-sized portions of the chicken mixture may be dropped into the flour. To coat, roll in flour and carefully flatten into patties.
In a skillet, warm the oil over moderate heat. Fry chicken patties for 5–7 minutes each side, or until golden brown and no longer pink in the middle.
