Simply combining vodka, dry vermouth, and ice is all that is required to produce a traditional drink known as a vodka martini. If you want to make a sophisticated drink at home, serve it in a martini glass that has been iced and garnish it with olives and a touch of lemon.
The vodka martini is one of James Bond’s favorite drinks, and so is ours. A sophisticated and energizing vodka martini is generally considered a classic drink, and there are times when it’s simply impossible to top a classic.
What Are the Ingredients in a Vodka Martini?
The components of a vodka martini are really straightforward. You will just need the following three components:
Vodka
There is no way around the need for vodka. Pick the brand that you like most.
Vermouth secco (dry)
Vermouth dry has a taste that is flowery and sour all at once.
Olives If you prefer green olives, try Castelvetrano olives or Spanish olives, or any other kind of green olive that you like.
What Ingredients Make a Vodka Martini a Dirty Drink?
If a drink is called a dirty martini, it indicates it has olive brine in it (in addition to the olive garnish). This martini is not a dirty martini, but it is quite easy to create a dirty martini by just adding half an ounce of olive brine.
How to Make a Vodka Martini
Martinis made with vodka are not supposed to be shaken, as 007 suggests; rather, the drink should be swirled. This is how you create one:
Mix equal parts of vodka and vermouth.
A mixing glass filled with ice should be used to combine the vodka and dry vermouth. After stirring it until it was cooled, pour it into a martini glass that has also been chilled.
Garnish
Add olives to the top of the drink in whichever quantity you see fit (threaded onto a toothpick).

“Perfect, uncomplicated vodka martini recipe. My wife, a novice martini drinker, thought it was delicious. Make sure you use a vodka of good grade; I went with Russian Standard Platinum. Simple, has a wonderful flavor, “says Tacketts Mill Farm.
“This martini with vodka is just flawless. There are many other combinations of vermouth and vodka, but I’ve discovered that this one is the one that works best for me. Particularly when combined with Grey Goose Citron vodka. Yum, “raves W Adkisson.
“My husband and I have never had a martini before, so we really do not know what if anything else it compares to, but we truly like drinking it. Although I’m not usually a fan of green olives, the ones in this drink really take it to the next level. My preference is for mine to be served neat, while my spouse takes his unclean with a splash of olive juice. In any case, this is an outstanding dish “if one were to believe Pilar Williams.
